KIND THINKER OUT IN THE WORLD: an elegy for Perry Else

KIND THINKER OUT IN THE WORLD

Kind thinker, out in

the world, away

from the white towers;

down by the riv’r.

Forthright, flexible and firm —

the three frees.

Living, in the realm

of the possible:

not ‘they should’, only

‘well, maybe we can…’

Else we forget, the

value of play

and the value of

his playful life.
