L&D and OD: Working together.


Ah, the age-old cry of the trainer*, please let training play with the big boys!

A plea usually directed to the MD gang, or the HR gang more generally.

It’s not going to happen, except very occasionally when an enlightened CEO actually ‘get’s it’. And they don’t read TrainingZone, so who is the audience for this article?

I suppose it might cheer up trainers a bit by bolstering their top table fantasies.


As Harry Callaghan said: “a man’s got to know his limitations.”


*(now known as the L&Der –  ‘elearning’ to be specific and cost-cuttingly fashionable in this case)
